| Three teachers posted for more than 350 students at HS Batalkote | | |

POONCH, Feb 20: A high school in border district Poonch sans all basic infrastructure and teaching staff and department is taking the matter lightly. High School Batalkote in Loran block of Poonch has only three teachers for more than 350 students.
The locals said that education department is deliberately pushing students of this far-flung area towards darkness it is because they are not deputing staff in this school. This matter has been put up in grievance cell of Lieutenant Governor by Javid Reshi, but locals are not satisfied.
They said, "the department has already thrown sand in their eyes, as they many a time have brought this matter in the notice of concerned authorities but the authorities are not looking careful into the matter. They said the government should deploy complete staff before the schools are opened after a long interval of more than one year."
Chief Education Officer Gulzar Choudhary and Director School Education Jammu Anuradha Gupta didn't give their comment on the issue. |
