| GDC organizes extension lecture on preparations for competitive-cum-academic examination | | |

Jammu, Feb 24: Govt. Degree College, Vijaypur organized an extension lecture under Manodarpan initiative of MHRD Government of India, on the theme “Preparations for Competitive-cum-Academic Examination” in which Mohd Rafiq Choudhary, Lecturer in Education (DIET), Samba was the resource person.
He stressed that it is important for students to fix a goal in their minds whenever they start preparing for any kind of examination. Students should work very hard and practice again and again as “Practice makes a man perfect”. He further added that students should first go through the whole syllabus of the subject and then do comprehensive and consistent reading and evaluation. It is also important for students to manage their time and resources effectively and make a time-table keeping in mind their short-term and long-term goal.
Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College expressed her gratitude to the resource person for sharing his expertise and experience and advised the students to work hard throughout the year so that they won’t have to go through last- minute anxiety, fear and stress. The whole event was coordinated by Shittal Sharma (HOD Mathematics) and the organizing committee comprised of Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch (HOD Dogri), Prof. Anil Bhagat (HOD Commerce), Gunjeet Mahiwal (HOD Education) and Ruchi (HOD Sociology). |
