It's about the spirit of participation, spirit of learning & most importantly, it's about the spirit of sportsmanship. Every win is a celebration because of the hard work that went behind it". The students of Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu justified the above saying by participating and winning different prizes in an inter school competition "Shri Jashan", organized by The Shri Ram Universal School, Rohtak. Around 20 schools all over India participated in the competition and the students of TSUS Jammu clinched some coveted positions. Shriites brought laurels to the school by winning 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize in Different categories. Tnish Vashishta won 1st prize in Music, Chitrakshi VS Sharma won 2nd prize in Music, Lakshita Slathia won the 3rd prize in Dance and Simran Choudhary won the 3rd prize in Dance. Management of the school lauded the efforts of students & staff and wished them good luck for their future endeavors. While addressing the students on the Award ceremony day, principal of the school Rajesh Rathore stated, "More often than not, a Lilliputian makes a giant befuddled with his/her determination, dedication and perseverance. Hard work exhibited under the guidance of skilled mentors ever fetch disciples some outstanding results". He made a clarion call to students to groom themselves extremely well & stay persistent till the goal is achieved. |
