| Corporator Ritu Choudhary kick starts blacktopping work in Ward No 7 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Corporator Ritu Choudhary today kick started blacktopping work at Eidgah near Residency road at a cost of Rs. 1 cr.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated by Ritu Choudhary in presence of prominent citizens of Ward-07 and to fulfill the long pending demands of the residents.
The work being executed by the Public Works department in presence of AEE Rohit Puri, JE Rakesh Khajuria, Jagdesh Singh contractor and Corporator Ritu Choudhary.
Later, Ritu Choudhary along with AEE and JE also visited Ward-07 and its surrounding localities, met with the locals, who put forth various issues of public importance such as construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes, etc. Ritu Choudhary gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine demands be redressed in a time-bound manner.
She further added that development work going on at eid ghah road in ward no.7 is already being completed at a 3rd pace with the cooperation of AEE & JE and also due to the support of the people from Prem Nagar area. "Black topping and renovation of road is in progress so as to prevent any inconvenience to the people of the ward", she said. |
