SAMBA, Apr 2: Police seized three vehicles (Dumpers) in the jurisdiction of PS Ghagwal which were being used for illegal mining and transportation of the construction material.
A Police team of PS Ghagwal while performing routine vehicle checking at Naka NHW, Tapyal intercepted a Dumper having Regd. No. JK02CR-5370 for illegal transportation of construction material (Bajri).
Similarly, in another incident, Police party of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area intercepted two dumpers having Regd. Nos. JK08K-7554 & JK21E-7751 near Bai Nallah, Ghagwal for illegal transportation of mining material. All the three vehicles intercepted by Samba Police in the above-mentioned incidents were seized on spot and cases entrusted to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action. |
