| Seminar on India's struggle for freedom held | | |

JAMMU, Apr 3: To commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" GDC Paloura today organised a seminar on India's struggle for freedom.
The seminar started with the address of the principal of the college Prof. Ramneek Kaur wherein she paid tribute to the great warriors and unsung hero's of our country.
Prof. Geetanjali Multani also spoke on the occasion and apprised the students about the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.
10 Students participated in the seminar and highlighted the contribution made by various freedom fighters of the country. The jury for the event comprised of Dr. Pinki Manhas, Prof. Pooja Dr Rabia Iqbal.
The first, second & third prize was won by Shivani Goswami, Bhawana Sharma and Sabha Nasir respectively.
The programme was anchored by Abhimanyu and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Gowhar A Shapoo. The whole event was orgainsed by Dr. Sapna Sharma, Dr. Shivani Sharma under the guidance of Dr Savi Behl coordinator of the programme. |
