Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 18: BJP Govt has utterly failed to check steep rise in prices and the heat of it is being felt by common woman while managing the kitchen alleged Ajay Kumar Sadhotra former minister and senior leader National Conference while addressing a meeting of Women Workers of National Conference at Jaswan in Marh.
He said the tall claims of BJP to lower down the prices during 2014 Parliament Elections has proved to be hollow and havoc. BJP came to power in 2014 at the centre and the state and in 2019 at the centre and now ruling Jammu and Kashmir directly, could not keep it promises and instead steep rise in prices have put heavy load on the kitchen of Common man. Women are the worst sufferer being the manager of every household and kitchen are feeling heat of it.
Frequent rise in prices of the Petroleum Products/Petrol/Diesel/Cooking Gas have given flip to overall rise in prices and BJP govt has turned silent spectator. The atmosphere has been created as if there is no body to listen and address the problem of rising prices he added.
On One side the common man is feeling the heat of unprecedented unemployment which has been further accumulated by the COVID-19 pandemic and on the other hand due to steep rise in prices. It has become very difficult for common woman to run the kitchen, Sadhotra said.
Sadhotra asked the BJP Govt to put Rs. 10000/- in account of every household by cash transfer in view of unprecedented rise in prices, unemployment and COVID-19 pandemic.
He asked the women folk to be cautious about spike in COVID-19 pandemic, go for vaccination, use mask & observe human distance as per govt protocol to fight COVID-19 pandemic.
