Jammu, Apr 23: To commemorate 75 years of India’s freedom struggle “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Government Degree College, Ramgarh organised an online slogan cum poster making activity on ‘World Earth Day’. World Earth Day is observed on April 22 every year and is dedicated to Mother Earth. The theme for Earth Day 2021 is ‘Restore Our Earth’. It is celebrated to create awareness about protecting our planet and preserving the environment. Saving water, reducing pollution, protecting the wildlife, plants and trees recycling waste are just a few means of saving our environment. The main objective of the activity was to make students connected and concerned about mother nature.
