Game Changer, Samar Strikers, Elite Tigers, Vriddhi Royals enter semis of PPCPL

JAMMU, Apr 28: Game Changer, Samar Strikers, Vriddhi Royals and Elite Tigers entered the semi final stage of the ongoing 3rd Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCPL) organized under the banner of Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu in collaboration with senior cricketers of J&K and KC Sports Club.
In today’s first match, Samar Strikers defeated Game Changer Rising Stars by 6 wickets. Batting first Game Changer Rising Stars made only 93 runs all out in 17.4 overs. In reply, Samar Strikers chased the target in just 13.4 overs by losing only 4 wickets. Kamal was declared man of the match with a cash award of Rs 2000.
In second match of the day, Vriddhi Royals defeated Samar Strikers by 5 wickets. Batting first Samar Strikers made 100 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply Vriddhi Royals chased the target in 18.5 overs. Prince Rana was declared as man of the match with the cash award of Rs 2000.
In another match, Game Changer Rising Stars defeated KAP Smashers by 8 wickets. Batting first KAP Smashers scored 118 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Game Changer Rising Stars chased the target in 19 overs. Jahanveer was declared man of the match. Bandeep Singh, current Ranji player of J&K, was the chief guest on the occasion.
