DDC chairperson Kishtwar calls on Principal Secy H&ME, raises various issues

JAMMU, Apr 28: District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson Kishtwar called upon Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education (H&ME) at Jammu and discussed with him various issues regarding the health infrastructure of Kishtwar particularly in far flung areas of the district.
DDC Chairperson, Kishtwar Pooja Thakur briefed Principal Secretary H&ME, Atal Dulloo about the shortage of staff at District Hospital Kishtwar besides different PHCs and Sub centers of the district.
She raised the issue of non-availability of staff for operating the Ventilator machine at Kishtwar hospital which is available in hospital in packed condition till now but no trained staff is available at hospital to make them operational. Thakur also discussed the issue of deputing the doctors to far flung areas of district Kishtwar so that people in various teshils of district Kishtwar should not suffer during the covid pandemic.
Apart from this, she also raised the problems faced due to shortage of Ambulances and their non maintenance. Principal Secretary H&ME, gave a patient hearing to all the issues discussed with him and assured for immediate solution to all issues will be provided in shortest possible time.
Pooja Thakur also met Director Rural Development and Panchayat Ra,j Kishore Singh Chib and discussed various issues regarding the RDD department like 14th FC, VSATs and other issues.
Director RDD assured that the payment of 14th FC will be released within a week time and other important issues will also be resolved accordingly.
