RAMBAN, Apr 28: District Magistrate Ramban, Mussarat Islam, has notified two micro containment zones in the district in view of the spike in Covid positive cases. As per orders issued by him, Tabeela (Chalamwas) in Banihal tehsil and Salballah in Gool tehsil have been declared as micro-containment zones following detection of a cluster of Covid positive cases. The movement of the people in and out of the containment zones shall be restricted and 100 per cent sampling will be undertaken to break the chain of transmission. The District Administration has urged the people to cooperate with the field staff and follow the Covid protocols for containing the spread of Covid-19. |
