Lane, drain work started in Ward No 40

Jammu, Apr 28: New Lane and Drain (Paver Tile ) laying work was started in Bharat Nagar EDB Lane, Talab Tillo to improve the local connectivity in Ward No. 40 falling under Assembly Constituency Jammu West. Work was initiated by Local JMC Councillor from Ward No. 40, Neelam Nargotra in the presence of J&K BJP State Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.
Local political activists district media secretary Arun Dubey, Talab Tillo Mandal Secretary Rahul Nargotra and officals Kuldeep Kumar (A.E.E JMC), Sunil Gupta (J.E JMC ), JMC supervisor and local people were also present on the occasion.
Neelam Nargotra, while addressing on the occasion, said that the local residents of EDB Lane were facing problems in commuting through the lane, which was irking the locals from quite some time. She said that in order to mitigate the sufferings of the locals prompt work was taken and then ensured by the JMC so as the issue is resolved in the service of the locals.
Nargotra also thanked the former local MLA & former Minister Sat Sharma for the support in the development works in the area. She added that the present work is being commissioned with cost of Estimate 1.75 Lakh Rupees. She said that even in the Covid time the works are being commissioned to benefit the people ane every possible effort is being made to address the needs of the locals.
Pardeep Mahotra said that BJP believes in the policy of development rather than profiteering and today every Indian National can proudly say that even in the chaos created by the Corona Pandemic, the country is heading towards its pristine glory under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He further said that working on the policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’ BJP has taken every issue of public concern on utmost priority, while typically focusing on the living status of the last person residing in the most neglected sections of the society.
