DC Kishtwar takes stock of COVID preparedness at Paddar

Kishtwar , May 1: Deputy Commissioner kishtwar Ashok Sharma today took a whirlwind tour of Paddar Sub-Division and took stock of various facilities and logistics for COVID-19 preparedness there at Paddar.
He was accompanied by SDM Paddar Varunjeet Charak,CAO Kishtwar Satish Bhagat,Tehsildar Paddar Major Singh among others.
Enroute Paddar,he inspected the PHC Keru and besides inspecting the attendance of staff there ,he directed the staff posted there to focus on vaccination,testing and creating awareness among the masses about COVID appropriate behaviour.
At Paddar,he took stock of various facilities and logistics in place at Covid Care centre at Atholi Paddar.
During inspection of Covid care facility he asked SDM Paddar to keep the centre ready in all respects.He further exhorted upon BMO Paddar to make an all out effort to register all the eligible persons for the Covid vaccination at their door steps.Laying stress upon testing he further asked for increasing the daily testing rate in entire sub division particularly covering the nomadic population which will move to higher reaches very soon.
He also reviewed the status of under construction 100 bedded hospital at atholi Paddar and directed SDM Paddar to monitor the face of work on weekly basis besides facilitate any materials and logistics requirement of executing agency during lock down .
He also asked SDM & Tehsildar Paddar to check the punctuality of staff in various government offices and send the daily attendance report of entire sub division before 10:30 Am.
