| Policeman injured in militant attack in Anantnag | | |
Anantnag, May 2 : A Jammu and Kashmir policeman was injured when militants attacked a police party in this south Kashmir Saturday evening.
A police spokesman said that at about 1820 hrs last evening while Police party was getting closed for shift to be replaced by another party for Covid Lockdown duty near Lazibal Anantnag, militants opened fire on police party.
He said one policeman received minor injuries. Police personnel also retaliated but the militants later managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
