Jammu, May 3: After almost more than two months of ceasefire agreement, Pakistan Rangers on Monday morning fired unprovoked along the international border in Ramgarh sector of Samba district in Jammu region. BSF spokesman said that early morning at around 0615 hrs, Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing in Ramgarh sector on BSF patrolling party ahead of fencing. "No loss injury was reported to own troops," he said. Earlier on April 25, alert troops of BSF on foiled the attempt of drone from Pakistan side to enter into the Indian Territory along international border in Arnia sector of Jammu. Pertinent to mention here that harvesting of standing crop is also in progress along the fence in the bordering villages. India, Pakistan in a joint statement on February 25 have agreed to ceasefire along borders following which the guns fallen silent thus relieving the border population. |
