20 days on, GMC Anantnag fails to repair ambulances
Out of 3, only 1 vehicle is on road, says MS M&CCH

Anantnag, May 3: Despite the passage of over twenty days now, the authorities at Government Medical College Anantnag have failed to repair ambulance vehicles as if the college doesn’t have money.
The two ambulance vehicles of Maternity and Child Care Hospital Anantnag are lying dysfunctional and just one vehicle is on road being used for shifting patients.
“Out of three, only one vehicle is playing and currently being used ferry patients to Srinagar,” officials at Maternity and Child Care Hospital Anantnag told Early Times
The Deputy Medical Superintendent M&CC Hospital Anantnag informed Principal Medical College Anantnag that the hospital has three ambulances and out those two were off the road due to technical problems.
A communication duly signed by Deputy Medical Superintendent M&CCH Anantnag Mir Ji Andrabi reveals that ambulances are off the road from last over twenty days.
“The authorities at GMC Anantnag including Principal Medical College aren’t paying any attention to our communications. They ignore our requests with the results people are suffering,” an official claimed. They said that the requisition letters of Maternity and Child Care Hospital Anantnag were being thrown into dustbin.
Officials said that despite the fact the government continues to release huge money for Government Medical College Anantnag but on ground it isn’t being utilized for upgrading the facilities for patients.
MSt MCCH Anantnag confirmed that the hospital had just one ambulance and other vehicles were lying defunct.
“I don’t know let you ask this question to Principal GMC Anantnag,” Mir Ji Andrabi said on being asked why the vehicles weren’t being repaired.
