Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 has been suspended indefinitely, said BCCI sources, after many players tested positive for COVID-19. Two Kolkata Knight Riders players Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier, Chennai Super Kings bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji and a CSK travel team support staff member are among those who have tested positive for the virus. As per IPL protocol, CSK squad has been put in isolation. Beside these personnel, one SunRisers Hyderabad player has tested positive and the entire team has been put in isolation, said sources. |
