DC Kishtwar approves 46 Rent Assessment Cases

KISHTWAR, May 18: The District Rent Assessment Committee, which met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, approved 46 rent cases out of 52.
The rent cases pertaining to Police, Army, Revenue, PMGSY, Education, Youth services and Sports, Social welfare, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Health, coperative,FCS & CA , ISM besides revenue department were approved by the Committee.
The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, kishtwar, Pawan Parihar, SDM Marwah Dr Mohsin Raza,District Social Welfare officer, Tariq Parveaz Qazi; Dy CEO Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Sen,CMO Dr R S Manhas, Tehsildar Mughalmaidan, Nayeem Iqbal Sheikh; Tehsildar Drabshalla Arun sharma ,Tehsildar Nagseni Majid jehangir, besides XEns of PWD, PMGSY and other concerned district officers. Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure safety of the Government/rented property. He further asked the District Officers to pay the approved rent along with the arrear after proper verification of the records.
Besides CDPO Kishtwar was asked to verify the safety of the rented office building and submit the report before the committee for further consideration. 06 cases were deffered by DC Kishtwar for next meeting subjected to their re-verification.
