Mayo, Jodhamal students organize ‘virtual students exchange program’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 21: With joint collaboration of American Field Service India, Jodhamal Public School, Jammu and Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer, the students of these two schools had a four day long Virtual Student Exchange Program. The students not only mingled and interacted virtually, but shared their cultural values, ethos, history and practices with each other. Both sides exchanged Traditional values, Dance Forms, Cuisines, Historical Information, Language, Art and Craft culture of Jammu and Rajasthan. The sentimental feedbacks and tear shedding on final day highlighted the effectiveness of this Virtual Exchange. Students promised to visit each other as and whenever it will be possible. Deep Khare (Principal) of JMPS praised the efforts made by AFS India and students from both schools. Kanchan Khandke (Principal) of Mayo girls’ school also extended her heartfelt wishes towards the students and invited the guests from Jammu to explore hospitality at MCGS. She also thanked national director of AFS India Divya Arora (Director), Manjula and Shradha Roy (Program Coordinators) for providing such a wonderful platform during these difficult days.
