Covid-19 RAT testing camp held at Ware House | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 21 : A total of 88 shopkeepers, workers and labourers on Friday checked for Covid-19 in a special camp organized by Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market with the help of the Health Department and District Administration. Special camp organized under the supervision of Deepak Gupta, President of Federation. This is the forth camp at the warehouse in the last two weeks. Earlier on the request of the federation, the Medical Department on the directions of District Administration took the samples of Traders of warehouse and Nehru market. In the second camp, employees and laborers of this wholesale mandi were checked for Covid-19. In the third camp, truck drivers and their helpers were checked for Covid-19. This time, a special camp was organized for buyers and other left over people. A total of 88 samples were taken by the medical team and four were tested positive. According to Deepak Gupta, administration assured them that the camp will continue for another two-three days to cover the all. We took this matter with the administration and thanked the administration who listened to us and took immediate steps to take Covid-19 sampling in Mandi, he said.
