Kishtwar, May 21: To wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the suffering of common people and showing how it is prejudicial to the national interest besides to promote national harmony, mitigate terrorism, and unity among people of all caste, creed, and sex, the celebration of Anti -Terrorism Day was marked by the observance of pledge ceremony here at DC office Kishtwar. The pledge was administered by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma along with other Senior officials and staff of DC Office Kishtwar with due observance of COVID19 protocol. The pledge reads: “We, the people of India, having abiding faith in our country’s tradition of non-violence and tolerance, hereby solemnly affirm to oppose with our strength, all forms of terrorism and violence. We pledge to uphold and promote peace, social harmony, and understanding among all fellow human beings and fight the forces of disruption threatening human lives and values.” |
