| Deputy Mayor distributes masks , sanitizers among families of Maratha Basti | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 22: Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation distributed masks and sanitizers to the families of Maratha Basti ward no 53. She distributed masks and sanitizers as a preventive measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus pandemic which is an ongoing global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), an novel infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2). She said that we all should help our fellow beings by aiding the needy or even ensuring of essential commodities to everybody. She said that the corona Pandemic has crippled global resource supply and a major chunk of populaation is feeling restlessness to acquire the basic amenities at the time. Purnima Sharma, said that it is duty of everyone of us to contribute in any possible way, but at the same time, she insisted that the biggest contribution will be not to venture out of our homes unnecessarily. She simultaneously appealed to all for strictly adhering to the guidelines issued by the enforcement agencies to check the spread of Covid 19 (corona virus) infection. Kanchan (Akal), Shiv (President Maratha Bhasti) also accompanied the Deputy Mayor. |
