| NMC appeals PM to speed up vaccination drive for 18-45 age group | | | Jammu, May 22: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) President Subash Shastri has appealed to Prime Minister to speed up the vaccination drive for 18-45 age group as the second wave of Covid-19 probably affecting that age group. Hailing the vaccination drive conducted for above 45 age group and Jammu becoming the first district in Jammu Kashmir to vaccinate majority of population of 45 plus age group , Shastri emphasized upon replicating the same for 18-45 age group as soon as possible . Highlighting the day night hardwork of Corona warriors, he appealed to the general public to kindly cooperate with them and demanded a special package for corona warriors, media persons, daily rated workers, business community, Police personnels, bank employees, transporters and all those who are finding it difficult to earn for their living due to lockdown.
Shastri also accentuated that vaccine is the only panacea to get rid of this pandemic and it would make the vaccinated people to sail through the third wave of covid 19.
