Citizen's Forum expresses shock over mismanagement
5/22/2021 11:46:21 PM
Early Times eport

Jammu, May 22: Citizen's Forum is shocked to know the death of 673 in Jammu and 389 deaths in Kashmir due to corona in first 20 days of May 2021 only. We are concerned for both the regions but admire the working and taking care of their people by Kashmir officers and leaders with intelligent handling of Covid 2nd wave as against incompetent officer and particularly leaders of Jammu who are issuing fake data and figures on handling of covid pandemic.
R K Chadha president Citizen's Forum said we understand the Prime Minister is looking after the needs of all regions , it is the LG Manoj Sinha and his advisors along with concerned officers to ask for equal and required help from the Prime Minister for Jammu. It is very strange to note while demanding 7 Nos. German Oxygen Units for Kashmir they conveniently avoided or did not pressurize the same quantity of oxygen Units for Jammu.
Now when tried to divert few units to Jammu nobody confirms weather how many units are diverted to Jammu or nothing. No leader of Jammu even mentioned about the 7 oxygen Units, knowingly people are dying in maximum in Jammu. Nor there is any plan for meeting the Covid challenge in Jammu, We had many times requested the UT Governments to involve at least the Municipal Corporators for testing and Vaccination arrangements in their wards but they are repairing Lanes and drains and black topping of their area roads spending huge amounts which can be used for purchase of medical items.
