| International Biodiversity Day observed | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 22: NSS Unit of GDC Jindrah in collaboration with Department of Environmental Sciences under the able guidance of worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Raj Shree Dhar is organizing a three days workshop for observing “International Biodiversity Day” from 22 May to 24 May 2021.
Prof. Deepika Sharma (HOD EVS) delivered a lecture on first day of the workshop highlighting the importance of biodiversity and need for its conservation. In the next two days NSS volunteers will perform poster making, slogan writing, photography and prepare video messages for creating awareness among the people.
In addition to this students also actively participated in the movement initiated by UNICEF and Ministry of Youth Affairs and took a pledge to act as “Young Warrior”.
The programme was organized by Dr. Sunil Dutt Sharma (NSS Officer of the College ) and Prof. Deepika Sharma (HOD EVS).
