All can apply in DRDO’s Jammu hospital, only Kashmiris in Valley; alleges Tony
‘Discrimination with Jammu galore under BJP Govt’

Early Times Report

R S Pura, May 23: DDC Member Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony on Sunday alleged that discrimination with Jammu galore in the advertisement notices issued for the contractual appointments in DRDO’s twin hospitals in Valley and Jammu by the GMCs of Srinagar and Jammu wherein all domiciles of the UT can apply in Jammu but only Kashmiris in the Valley.
In a statement issued here, the DDC Member expressed shock and surprise that how come such bare prejudice is being allowed under the nose of LG’s administration? He said that BJP Government at the Centre has turned deaf and dumb, and is not bothered about what is happening on ground.
“This kind of prejudice that too under LG’s administration speaks volumes about indifference of those sitting at helm in J&K and at the Centre”, he said, adding that Jammu and its people are facing the discrimination unabated irrespective of the fact that the so-called Jammu’s savior party BJP is enjoying loaves of power in centre that too with full majority.
“How on earth, the Lt Governor, the BJP in Centre, or the bureaucrats will justify this lopsided move and the rationale behind pushing the people of Jammu province to wall?” Asked the DDC member, while urging the local BJP leadership to wake up from deep slumber and do something on ground to save the interests of people rather than indulging in rhetoric and self-praise which is evident from table stories published in local dailies regarding its phenomenal and stellar contribution towards Jammu.
The DDC member asserted that the government-jobs for local youths of Kashmir have been saved but what about the youth of Jammu region. Anybody can apply for DRDO Covid hospital jobs in Jammu, he said, adding that its fact that nobody wants to go Kashmir due to the ongoing disturbance but on the other hand it’s also a fact that nobody will leave a chance to apply for jobs in DRDO Covid Hospital Jammu, which is safe haven for everybody.
Tony said that BJP has miserably failed to provide any relief to the people of Jammu as the trail of discrimination under its realms has increased manifold times as compared to the days when people showing ‘hegemony’ over Jammu ruled the erstwhile state of J&K.
