| G D C Nagrota organises Webinar on “Take action against Covid – 19” | | |

Nagrota, May 23: The NSS unit of Govt Degree College nagrota organized a webinar on 23rd of May 2021 with theme “Take Action Against Covid – 19”. This webinar was a part of the “Young Warrior Movement” started by UNICEF – MoYAS in different states of India to combat Covid – 19. The webinar started with a welcome address by Dr Harmeet Kour, Assistant Professor in Punjabi. Dr Attar Singh Kotwal, Principal GDC Nagrota was the patron of the programme. While speaking on the occasion he emphasized on the importance of the youth to be a part of the “Young Warrior Movement”. Dr Iqbal Quasim, the incharge of NSS unit was the resource person for the occasion. He stressed upon the fact that it is the time to take action against Covid – 19 and that we can take if we fight colllectively against it. His lecture was based on simple fact that it is not only the the duty of Doctors and Police personnels but also every individual directly or indirectly to fight against Covid - 19. He talked about the different ways and means by which one save himself and others against this pandemic. Large number of students, NSS volunteers and young people participated in the programme. The webinar came to an end with a vote of thanks by Dr Harmeet Kour. |
