Kishtwar heading for unlock, admin makes COVID test mandatory for shopkeepers, helpers | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report
Kishtwar, May 27: With improvement in situation with regard to COVID-19 cases, the administration in this district is preparing itself for resumption of normal permissible activities in the district and in this regard many measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the virus. As per the details available with Early Times, Kishtwar administration has made the COVID test mandatory for shopkeepers and their helpers before they will be allowed to resume their business activities once the lockdown ends on 31-5-2021. In this connection, District administration Kishtwar under the supervision of Tehsildar Kishtwar Paromood Kumar and BMO Kishtwar Satpal has constituted test conducting teams and as per the reports, hundreds of test of shopkeepers and other business house had been conducted since last 3/4 days. Senior official told Early Times about the development and added that leniency is subjected to the outcome of situation related to no surge in COVID cases. “Whatever decision will be taken — it will be taken after overall review of the situation— in case situation improves- we will definitely head towards normalization and will allow further activities in the district” said the official.
