JAMMU, June 13: Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor today organized a function in the Department of Political Science to celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” under the guidance of College Principal Dr Namrata, GDC Akhnoor. The programme was conducted through a webinar for the students in final semester on the topic “Higher Education & Career Opportunities: Competition Strategies for Political Science & IR Students”.
In the webinar, students from different colleges participated who were either in final semester or had completed graduation from different states of India. It begin by the introductory remarks by Dr Piyush Kant Sharma, Assistant Professor, GDC Akhnoor. The resource persons for the seminar were Tarif Sohail and Asifa Zunaidha, Assistant Professors of Political Science at University of Delhi. The aim of the webinar was to create awareness among the students about different opportunities and strategies for exams in various universities and competitions. There was a healthy question answer session after the discussion. Prof. Neeru Dhalla, HoD Zoology, GDC Akhnoor was also present throughout the webinar.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Rashmi Sharma, Assistant Professor, Head of Department, Political Science, GDC Akhnoor. |
