Jammu, June 18: To mark the death anniversary of Rani Lakshmibai, Jammu and Kashmir BJP Mahila Morcha, under its President, Sanjita Dogra, organized a programme outside Medical College, Maheshpura, Jammu, on Friday. On this occasion, Morcha leaders paid rich tributes to one of the greatest freedom fighter and a great patriot. Sanjita Dogra, while paying tributes, said that Rani Lakshmibai 's bravery, courage, wisdom and sacrifice made her an icon of the Indian independence Movement. She became a beacon for the upcoming generations of freedom fighters. She said that the women must make Rani Lakshmibai as their role model. Sanjita said that Rani Lakshmibai will always be remembered for her unparallel patriotism and outstanding courage. She stressed upon the women to take inspiration and share with the people her supreme sacrifice for the motherland. Bhartiya Janata Party believes in women's empowerment and that every woman has the hidden power in her inner-self, Sanjita said, adding that only women have the capacity to play multiple responsibilities successfully in the family. |
