Mayor, others kick start work of laying dedicated feeder at Bahu Fort area

Jammu, June 18: Continuing his drive to provide better amenities to the citizens of Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu , alongwith Kavinder Gupta Former Deputy Chief Minister J&K, Advocate Purnima Sharma , Deputy Mayor , Narinder Singh Jamwal, Chairman Health & Sanitation Committee JMC, Vinay Gupta, Jammu District President BJP, Sharda Kumari Councillor of ward no.47, Sham Lal Councillor of ward no.48, Neeraj (Lucky) Puri Councilor of ward no.54/Gandhi Nagar Mandal President BJP, Surinder Choudhary Councillor of ward no.29, Rajeev Charak , Anu Radha Charak Senior party leaders today on 18/06/2021 conducted an extensive tour of Bahu Fort & its surrounding localities and took stock of the ongoing development works and other related activities in the area and also started the work of prestigious project of laying of dedicated feeder for street lights and High Mast lights installed within the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Laxman Singh Jamwal, Executive Engineer (Electrical), Rakesh Verma Assistant Executive Engineer (Elec.), Anirudh kumar Junior Engineer (elec.) other supervisory staff of Electrical section, Ujwal Chopra alongwith other representatives of M/s Vaishno Association Agency, Rajasthan who has been allotted the work of this project as well as other prominent inhabitants of ward no.47 & 48 were also remained present there during the tour.
Speaking on the occasion , Mayor told that JMC in collaboration with ESSL has already installed more than 80,000 LED lights in all the 75 wards of the city for the convenience of the general public and in order to streamline the regulations of these installed LED lights/High Mast lights in a more effective manner and for their long durability, the JMC in collaboration with M/s Vaishno Association Agency Rajasthan today started the work of laying of dedicated feeder for LED street lights at the parking site of Mata Kali Mandir Bahu Fort Jammu which will recover the laying of electric wires as well as required numbers of meters along with and other electrical equipments within the jurisdiction of JMC in first phase and a control room will be setup at Town Hall Jammu which will properly monitor /check the whole functioning of this prestigious project.
