Srinagar, June 20: A man was on Sunday arrested alongwith arms and ammunition, including a pistol, in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
Official sources said that following specific information, a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of J&K police, Army and CRPF in Sandoo area in Achabal in Anantnag on Sunday.
“During the operation, security forces arrested a man and recovered a pistol, pistol magazine, two pistol rounds, and other incriminating material from him,” they said.
They said police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident. |
