| SWA holds meeting, demands uninterrupted power supply | | |

JAMMU, June 21: A meeting of Social Welfare Association (SWA), Block Satwari was held today at Bhour Camp under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan (President SWA, Block Satwari) and Parfulat Singh (General Secretary SWA, Block Satwari).
During the meeting various issues were discussed but the major issue which is being faced by the people is errartic power supply in Bhour Camp and Chatha Farm areas.
The members informed that the branches of trees have fallen over the electric infrastructure, damaging it and causing power outages in many areas.
The Social Welfare Association has decided to give a time period of one week to the Power Development Department to look after the problem of the area otherwise they will have to take some major steps in this concern. Others who attended the meeting included Baldev Singh, Satish Khajuria, Kartik Sudan, Yashpal Sharma, Daleep Singh, and Om Parkash. |
