JAMMU, June 21: OBC Deptt J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) celebrated Nirjala Ekadashi at party headquarter at Shaheedi Chowk Jammu. A stall of beverages was organized by Chairman OBC Deptt PCC, Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra and his team including Som Nath Verma Incharge Kathua, Ravi Kumar, Sourav Kumar and Vishal. Sanjeev Sharma, Secretary PCC also took part in the programme and spoke on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv Suresh Kumar Dogra said, "Nirjala Ekadashi should be celebrated with great fervour and joy, 21st June is the hottest day of the year, and it is also a great virtue to quench the thirst of thirsty people on this day of summer." He said that the Congress party is a secular party and it celebrates every festival in an enthusiastic way irrespective of caste, colour and religion. |
