JAMMU, June 24: Bhagat Mahasabha Block Bhalwal Committee celebrated 623th Prakash Utsav of Saint Kabir Das at village Mishriwala, Jammu. While following all SOPs of Covid 19 in the event people from nearby areas viz Marh and Bhalwal blocks participated in the programme. Kuldip Kumar Bhagat and Balbir Chand Bhagat, both BDC chairpersons from Bhalwal and Marh blocks respectively were chief guests.
Bodh Raj Bhagat, National Vice President Bhagat Mahasabha and State President Bhagat Mahasabha Mahinder Bhagat also participated in the programme. The speakers threw light on the life and teachings of Sant Kabir ji Maharaj and other saintly figures. They said all should follow the teachings of saints to build a good society.
The organizing committee of the event included Som Dutt Bhagat, Kuldip Bhagat, Joginder Bhagat, Gulshan Bhagat, Rtd Capt. Mohan Lal Bhagat, Master Puran Chand, Hind Pal Bhagat, Tarsem Lal Bhagat, Madan Lal Bhagat, Jeet Raj Bhagat, Ravi Kumar Bhagat, Kewal Kumar Bhagat, Angrez Bhagat and Raj Kumar Bhagat. Jai Kumar Bhagat, state coordinator, appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee besides PRIs of different surrounding areas also participated in the programme. Before the culmination of the programme Guru ka langar was served to the people. |
