Jammu, June 24: Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust (Regd) celebrated 400th Birth Centinerary of Mata Shree Roopbhawani amidst the Covid 19 protocol. It was for the first time in the last 31 years that Hawans were performed simultaneously at all the Taposthals and temples of Mata Shree Roopbhawani at Janam Bhoomi, Dedmar, Manigam, Waskur, Laar, Cheshmasahibi and Tirath Nagar, Talab Tilloo, Jammu. Today being the special occasion as the trust has culminated the year long Prakash Utsav celebration. In view of pandemic , the celebrations were mostly in digital and online mode and active participation of devotees from all over the world. Different national and international organizations & NRIs participated in the year long celebrations.
Mata Shree’s Wakhs were in focus at all debates, symposia , lectures, The aura of Wakhs was felt by one and all and got mesmerized by the lucid explanations of Rahasyaopdesh by learned men and scholars of eminence. Bajan Sandhya by eminent singers S/Shri Dhananjay Sarswat Koul, Naina Saproo Trisal, Lovely Chandra,Dileep langoo, Shanti lal Sidh conducted by Kusum Tickoo enthralled the viewers.
Realizing the essence of the event, Central University of Jammu and University of Jammu organized two different webnars both chaired by Vice Chancellors of respective universities . The speakers on the occasion were renowned educationist, writer and expert on wakhs of Mata Shree Roopbhawani Prof Chaman Lal Raina and Satish Dhar, the other two speakers were Dr.CK Gariyali, IAS and Dr. Mahesh Kaul.
Mata Shree Roopbhawani being the only female saint of Kashmir, next to Shree Laleshiwari and one of the very few in India, a mindboggling webinar was organised by trust with 100 percent participation, anchoring, speakers of Females from all over the globe. This female devotee group was enthralled by the organizer connecting the millennial generation to the roots and rich heritage of Sanskrit culture of India.
The yearlong celebration concluded today the 24th of June 2021 with recitation of vedic mantras, Mata Shree Wakhs/ Rahasyopdesh at Tirath Nagar, Talab Tilloo, Jammu where Ravi Dhar, Pradhan Sewak of the trust released souvenir in digital format and released the Raag Alkhishwari conceived by Dhananjay Saraswat Kaul, the eminent classcal soofi vocalist.
