| Kavi gosthi in Dogri and Malayalam languages held | | |

Jammu, June 25: Sahitya Akademi New Delhi under its webline Literature series Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat organized Kavi gosthi in Dogri and Malayalam languages in which poets of Dogri and Malayalam languages participated. In this poetry recitation, young poet Sahitya Akademi awardee Rajendra Ranjha of Dogri language from Jammu and famous litterateur of Dogri language and the poet awarded by Sahitya Akademi Kuldeep Abhisap Dubey read their poems.
On the other hand, well-known poetess Anita Thampi and well-known poet Alankode Leelakrishnan also recited their poems in Malayalam language.
The program was coordinated by Dr. N. Suresh Babu, Deputy -Secretary, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi. In his opening remarks, Dr. N. Suresh Babu said that the purpose of organizing such inter-language programs is to bring poets writing in different languages on one platform so that litterateurs from different languages can get acquainted with the common cultural heritage of India! Programme ended with the vote of thanks presented by Dr. N. Suresh Babu.
In this program, all the poets mesmerized the audience with their poems. |
