| Essay writing competition on ‘’Gandhi An Apostle of Peace’’ held | | |

Jammu, Jun 29: Department of Political Science GDC Thannamandi organized an essay writing competition under Shikshit Bharat on the theme ‘’Mahatma Gandhi An Apostle of Peace’’. The competition was conducted under the patron ship of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. The competition was conducted through online mode for which the last date of submission was 28th June 2021. The purpose of this essay writing competition was to inculcate among the students values of peace, tolerance and brotherhood by following the principles of Gandhi ji. Large number of students participated in the competition.
Shazina Koser of semester 4th bagged the first position, 2nd position was achieved by Seerat Fatima of semester 2nd whereas 3rd position was shared by Sobia Shakoor and Mohd Asif both of 4th semester. The competition was organized by Prof Fatima HOD Political Science.
