DC listens to people’s grievances online
Public hails 5-day vaccination campaign

REASI, June 29: District Development Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh, today conducted live interaction with the general public as part of ‘Reasi Beeps Beat the Pandemic’ and listened to scores of grievances on phone.
Charandeep Singh attended 21 calls in one and a half hour session from 11 AM to 12:30 PM and directed the concerned authorities for early redress of the issues projected by the public.
During the interaction, the DC inquired about vaccination status from the callers. They thanked the DC for sending vaccination teams to far flung areas under *Paanch Divasiya Vaccination Abhiyan -Abhi Nhi Toh Kbhi Nhi* campaign.
The DC encouraged youth, NGOs and volunteers to educate people about the benefits of vaccination. He asked them to form teams to motivate unvaccinated people in their areas for vaccination for which they will be felicitated by the District administration.
Asking people to shed their reservations against the vaccine, Charandeep Singh spoke to residents of Sajroo, Dhran, Thuroo, Narkote, Budhal, Karamgatha areas. He counselled them to take the vaccine to make ‘Panch Divasiya Vaccination Abhiyan’ a successful inoculation exercise.
During this live interaction, a beneficiary Parveen singh from Dheote Panchayat thanked DC for solving the grievance of his area by providing a water Tanker. Likewise many beneficiaries from different areas of Reasi district thanked DC for resolving their issues through such a platform. During the interaction, the villagers from different areas of Reasi apprised DC that they are getting vaccinated and also inspiring other locals to get the jabs.
"The threat of COVID-19 remains and we have to focus on vaccination as well as follow COVID-19 protocols," the DC said. Meanwhile, Charandeep Singh directed the concerned officers to work more effectively and note down the grievances of the public for effective redress.
