| GMC Jammu gets liquid tank oxygen | | |

Jammu, June 29: In an effort to strengthen the oxygen supply chain in Govt. Medical College Jammu, RODIC Consultants has donated one Cryogenic liquid tank having capacity of 20 Kilo litres to the hospital. It will be used for storage of Liquid Medical Oxygen.
It will further augment the supply chain of liquid medical Oxygen for the benefit of COVID-19 patients. It will give an additional boost by increasing existing storage of oxygen in the hospital.
Earlier GMC Jammu has to get Oxygen filling tank from Solan HP. This tank will enhance oxygen storage capacity and bridge the gap between demand and supply of oxygen in future and mainly for the third wave of COVID- 19 pandemic. This Cryogenic oxygen tanker will be used for holding precious liquid oxygen.
It is pertinent to mention here that it will help streamline the supply of oxygen, ensure its timely delivery to critical areas for saving the precious lives. It will further boost the hospital administration’s efforts of distribution of Liquid Medical Oxygen to critical areas as Oxygen availability has been the one of the biggest challenges faced during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. |
