Online interactive lecture cum workshop on beat COVID campaign held

Jammu, June 29: NSS Unit of Government Degree College Paloura in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India conducted online interactive lecture cum workshop for students and faculty members on “Beat COVID Campaign”. The aim of this workshop was to create helper teams and provide guidance for Psychosocial Counselling and Covid Helper Skills.
Resource persons Dr Pallavi Kaul from MGNCRE said the workshop is intended to fulfill the aim of “Each one reach one”. She explained use of various skills which can be used by individuals in their local community for beating COVID. She also apprised the participants about various Psycho-social techniques for helping COVID patients to overcome stress.
Prof. Ramneek Kaur, principal of the college lauded the enthusiastic participation of students and staff. She also assured for creating helper teams among students and staff to promote “Each one reach one” initiative and be a part of “Beat COVID Campaign”.
