| Sham Langar hails Centre’s new relief package, terms it 'booster dose' for economy | | |

Jammu, June 29: Sham Lal Langar, Convenor BJP Trade and Industries Cell, Jammu and Kashmir has welcomed the new relief package announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central Government, terming it is a booster dose for the economy and will generate jobs.
In a statement issued to the media here today, the Bharatiya Janata Party leader said the Modi government is sensitive towards people and always stands with them. He also said that this stimulus package will strengthen the economy and generate jobs.
Sham Langar said that this shows that BJP stands with the people of the nation to ensure their welfare especially during tough times like that of the ongoing pandemic that has already crossed the second wave. He said that there is hardly any section of the people that has not been affected by the pandemic and as such there is a dire need for addressing their concerns. Therefore the BJP Govt at the Centre has been announcing packages for all the categories.
Sham Langar said, the onslaught of the second wave and the impact of the lockdown was severe, particularly for the contact-oriented businesses like travel and tourism and small businesses. The travel and tourism sector is crucial to earning foreign currency in the case of international tourism. Therefore, the announcement by the government is well-timed and in the right direction. MSMEs, MFIs, and small and unorganized sectors are the biggest employment creators. He said that the measures will help boost growth adding that the enhanced limit for the credit guarantee scheme will ensure funding for businesses and help the most affected sectors. |
