Early Times Report

Jammu, June 29: The teams of Delhi Special Cell and National Security Guards on Tuesday afternoon reached the Jammu Air Force Station as a part of ongoing investigation into the drone attack.
“The NSG team, along with officers of Delhi Special Cell, have reached the Air Force Station,” sources said.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Home Affairs handed over the drone attack probe case to the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) after a preliminary report of the incident was submitted to the ministry.
“The NIA has reportedly lodged a case under various sections to officially begin the investigation,” the sources added.
Two bombs were airdropped at the IAF base, injuring two Indian Air Force personnel.
The explosions took place around 0140 hrs within six minutes of each other.
Initial findings have suggested the hand of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit in the blast case. “Splinters were found at the site of explosions and have been collected with some remains of debris and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory,” the sources said.
