| 92 BSF organizes plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
AKHNOOR, July 22: A plantation drive was conducted by 92nd Corps Border Security Force at Akhnoor camp on Thursday morning.
The plantation drive was started by planting saplings under the leadership of 92nd Corps Commander Sanjay Chauhan. On the occasion, all the personnel of the Corps enthusiastically participated in the tree plantation ceremony. Around 250 saplings of all types were planted under the programme. 92 Bsf BTCommandant Shri Sanjay Chauhan told that the rainy season is going on, the plants planted in this season grow quickly. To keep the land green, he called for giving the message of environment by planting more and more trees. He said that if there is a tree then there is tomorrow.
BT has planted 3265 saplings this year and by the end of this year the target of 15000 saplings which has been given by the Ministry of Home Affairs will be completed.
