Terrorists from Bihar arrested for supplying arms in J&K | One arrested from Bihar, another from Jammu | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: With the arrest of two terrorist, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday busted a terror syndicate involved in supplying arms to terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir from Bihar. Two residents of Bihar were arrested by NIA for their alleged involvement in transporting arms from Bihar and handing the same consignment to terrorists active in Jammu and Kashmir. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Arman Ali alias Arman Mansuri, aged 20 years and Mohammad Ehsanullah alias Guddu Ansari, aged about 23 years, both residents of Bihar. They were arrested in connection with the case RC-01/2021/NIA/JMU. The case was originally registered as FIR No. 16/2021 dated 06.02.2021 at PS Gangyal, District Jammu relating to a conspiracy hatched by members of Lashker-e-Mustafa, an off-shoot of proscribed terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (LeM), to carry out terrorist activities in J&K with an intention to threaten the sovereignty, integrity and security of India. “Investigation has revealed that both the aforementioned arrested accused persons were co- conspirators and were involved in transportation of two separate consignments of illegal arms/ammunition from Bihar to Mohali and Ambala. The said weapons were further transported to the accused Hidayat Ullah Malik, self-styled commander-in-chief of LeM in Jammu and Kashmir”, official spokesman said. “The accused Mohammad Arman Ali was arrested in Bihar and was produced before the CJM Saran, Bihar and was taken on transit remand to produce him before the NIA Special court, Jammu, while the other accused namely Mohd. Ehsanullah alias Guddu Ansari was arrested from Jammu today”, sources said. |
