J&K launches JK Covid Dashboard created by JaKeGA

SRINAGAR, July 22: J&K Government launched a special Dashboard for COVID Analysis in the Union Territory, couple of days back when LG Manoj Sinha e-launched it in the presence of Dr Arun Mehta, Chief Secretary, Simrandeep Singh, IT Secretary, Amit Sharma, CEO JaKeGA, Imran Sufi, PM JaKeGA, Saima Mir, PM JaKeGA, Irfan Ahmed, PM JaKeGA and others. The web address is “coviddashboard.jk.gov.in” which is also mobile-friendly wherein JaKeGA has worked continuously to create and launch it which was a pressing need of the hour. CEO JaKeGA Amit Sharma disclosed that a team led by Project Manager Imran Sufi has worked continuously to make it a reality within shortest possible time under the guidance & support of IT Secretary Simrandeep Singh.
Amit mentioned that COVID Dashboard has many unique features like Trend Analysis, Immunization History, Comparative Analysis both at District as well as National Level, Forecasting, etc. The best thing about this Dashboard is that the data keeps on getting updated from NHM Statistics on a regular basis about all details about Covid Patients, Hospitals, Daily Progression, Treatment, Recovery, Deaths, etc and historical data since first wave has been presented in graphical manner and pictorial charts with proper dates and timelines.
Many similar initiatives like this are in the pipeline on the directions of LG, Chief Secretary, IT Secretary as mentioned by CEO JaKeGA, the prominent amongst which is LG’s Dashboard wherein real time analysis and monitoring of progress of ongoing schemes and works can be done at any point of time. Few similar past initiatives have gained lot of popularity like Awam ki Awaaz, Mumkin, LG’s Grievance Portal wherein public is getting largely benefitted and coming in direct contact with top authorities from time to time.
CEO JaKeGA Amit Sharma appealed to the public that they should take maximum advantage of influx of technology to make their lives simpler and use same to the best of their advantage and welfare.
