Later the experience at youth fests was very captivating for her. Gagandeep believes that one learns a lot when he/she starts from scratch and going for learning with pre-thoughts hampers one’s growth. She opines that nature teaches a lot and learning is not confined to the classroom only, one has to be observant to learn from the surroundings and the people around. All the training is not what we learn formally, informal interactions also play a vital role in shaping one’s personality. Gagandeep is in a persistent quest to build a strong bridge between performance and academics and also invokes the attention and wisdom of others in this connection as this is the need of the hour. She also shares that being a theatre teacher, other than developing the artistic capabilities of the students, she always tries to inculcate compassion and humanity in them. |
