JAMMU, July 26: Welfare Society Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu today slammed the concerned authorities for keeping a deaf ear against complaints of flooding of nallahs especially the one piercing through Sector 11, 12,13, and 9. These nallahs have become a source of trouble for the neighborhood as their overflowing water brings nasty silt garbage and filth in their houses acting as vector in spreading deceases and germs everywhere beside strong and unbearable rotten smell. Besides encroachments absence of regular and proper de-silting are the main factors of such massive floods. The society further urged the concerned Municipal Automatically to take timely action to save the people of the area from facing such situations by de-silting these allahs. Balwinder Singh Rinku President, AS Khera Chairman, Pawan Sharma Sr. Vice President, Sanjeev Talwar Vice President, Hardeep Singh Vice President, Maninder Singh Narula Gen. Secretary, Raju Katyal Secretary, Harjeet Singh Secretary, Jatinder Kumar Cashier, Anil Gupta, Bobby Bhardwaj and others were present in the meeting.
