JKTF appeals LG for early release of DA

JAMMU, July 26: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) has appealed the Lieutenant Governor MK Sinha for early release of D.A. instalment to the teaching fraternity. Speaking on the occasion, the JKTF members said that the employees of Jammu Kashmir UT are recieving their salaries with D.A @ 17%. Now the Center Government has released the pending three installments which were freezed due to ongoing pendamic of Covid 19. With the release of these three installments the employees will get their salaries with 11% hike in D.A with a total of 28% D.A w.e.f first of July 2021.
But the UT Government of Jammu and Kashmir have not issued formal orders in this regard to implement the Union Government's Order of hike in D.A in favor of employees serving under UT Government.
The Senior leadership of JKTF who was present on the occasion included Ganesh Khajuria, S.Surat Singh Toofani, J.A. Agah, Darshan Shama, Haji Mohd Iqbal, Rajinder Gupta, Raj Singh, Gopal Singh, S. Ravinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Kuldeep Verma, Sushil Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, P.D. Singh, Gautam Singh, Balraj Singh, Pawan Sharma, Ashwani Raina, Ajeet Verma and many others.
