In this regard, NCCHWO today handed ration stock to Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for distribution among the families affected by Covid-19. The organization, in its effort to extend possible support to people in distress due to the brunt of prevailing epidemic, sought list of the families who lost their sole earning member due to Covid from the Chairperson CWC so that these victims of the virus are provided basic things requisite for survival. Although, the government has kept several provisions for providing every help to the Covid affected people but it is a very small step on our part to distribute ration and other necessities to the needy", maintained a representative of NCCHWO.
The members of NCCHWO collaborated with Rotary Club Jammu Elite and Rotary Club, Jammu Tawi to provide help to these families. The organization would continue to extend such support to the Covid affected people till these families start getting the sanctioned aid from the government on this account.
